Our SchoolTool trainers are experts in providing training and support for using our comprehensive student management system. Every month, we'll share a tip to help teachers/faculty members, and administrators get the most out of our system. In this month's trainer tip, we will explore advanced search and batch selector terms to assist with locating students.

When using Advanced Search / Batch Selector, there are a variety of terms available to assist with locating students. Listed below are some helpful terms:

User Defined Assessment / User Defined Screen

  • Use these terms to find any students with a specific entry in a UDA or UDS field.

From File

  • This term can be used to upload a file containing student IDs and search only the included IDs. These can then be saved for easy retrieval.

District

  • Use this term to locate students that do not yet have an enrollment record created.

Saved Results

  • After creating a set of Saved Results, use this term to easily locate the saved group of students.
