Support through Collaboration and Engagement

SchoolTool Community

Through our online community forum and virtual, hybrid, and in-person user group events, we aim to build connections between districts, RICs, educators, administrators, and K-12 stakeholders, while giving customers and partners a voice to make meaningful contributions to the SchoolTool product.

Community Forum

Our community forum encourages dialogue and discussion by offering a supportive, collaborative space where customers that are directly supported by Mindex can post questions, share and vote on ideas, and connect with like-minded professionals. They can also watch educational and technical videos and access our knowledge base of useful articles.

As part of our training subscription, districts are able to access training forums and have direct contact with SchoolTool trainers.

We love hearing from you, and communication with our customers is essential for collaboration and making our student management software the best it can be. Our customers and partners can share innovative ideas or feedback directly with our Strategic Account Manager or within our online community for other SchoolTool users to comment and vote upon. User Groups & District Check-ins

Our virtual, hybrid, and in-person user groups bring RICs and districts together to discuss best practices, share release information, demo new features, and gather feedback. We also conduct district check-ins where we share news, hear about our districts' experiences with SchoolTool, and make sure they're supported.

SchoolTool Product Support

We have an awesome SchoolTool support team right here in New York State, so you won't have to worry about frustrating time zone differences or hours of operation affecting response times. Throughout our decades of experience supporting NYS districts, we’ve even been known to hop in the car and drive to customer locations when they find themselves in sticky situations and need a helping hand!
In addition to our dedicated service and support team, we offer a variety of resources to assist both new and longtime SchoolTool users:

In-App Help

SchoolTool provides documentation and tutorial videos that offer relevant how-to information for users.

For example, teachers can access instructional videos on the spot if they need help taking attendance, setting up grade books, submitting grades, adding discipline information, and more.

We’ve participated in the user feedback meetings around grade book, and also did one with one of the developers around attendance. I find it is so helpful and I really appreciate that you are reaching deeply into your SchoolTool community, taking feedback and actually making changes.

“I love the in-app help feature. I've always trained my teachers that when you're stuck somewhere in SchoolTool, if you're having an issue, hit that little question mark and it'll bring you straight to the help for that particular module for that screen that you're on. I have found it to be a big positive that help is readily available.”
