Updates to Student Restraint/Physical Intervention Tracking

Tracking student restraint and physical interventions is critical for maintaining a safe and accountable school environment. In response to feedback and requirements from New York State, we have expanded our capabilities in this area. Now, in addition to Discipline Referrals, Classroom Incidents can also track student restraint and physical intervention incidents. Furthermore, we have enhanced our data fields to enable districts to capture and report necessary information accurately to NYS.

NYS Data Warehouse Extract for Student Restraints/Physical Interventions

A significant addition to our latest release is the introduction of a new Data Warehouse extract specifically for Student Restraint Events. This extract is designed to support New York State's reporting requirements related to student restraints and physical interventions. By implementing this feature, we ensure that districts using SchoolTool can seamlessly comply with the state's data reporting mandates, facilitating transparency and accountability.
