Mindex partnered with a tenant screening company that processes a high volume of documents each month to improve operational efficiency and explore how AI could enhance information access and streamline workflows.
Every document contained valuable information, but extracting, organizing, and accessing that information efficiently required significant effort.


To support these goals, Mindex designed and implemented an AI-powered solution focused on document intelligence, structured data, and natural language search.
The first step was determining which data points should be extracted from documents and how that information should be organized for easy access.
This foundation helped ensure the solution would deliver relevant, useful information to users when they needed it.
Using Large Language Models (LLMs), Mindex automatically extracted critical information from scanned PDFs.
Amazon Bedrock was then used to structure and organize the extracted data, transforming unstructured documents into information that could be easily searched, queried, and analyzed.
To make information even more accessible, Mindex implemented natural language search, allowing users to ask questions and receive immediate answers.
Using Bedrock's structured data knowledge bases, the solution could interpret natural language questions and generate the appropriate queries automatically. This reduced the need for predefined search functions while creating a more flexible and scalable experience.
Employees can now access critical information more quickly, creating a more efficient approach to document management.
