Marc Fiore Inducted into the Rochester Business Hall of Fame

We’re proud to share some exciting news: our CEO and Founder, Marc Fiore, has been inducted into the Rochester Business Hall of Fame!

Since 2001, the Rochester Business Hall of Fame has celebrated leaders who drive innovation, create opportunities, and inspire future generations. The Class of 2025 inductees include:

  • Carlos Carballada (posthumous award) – Former President and CEO of Central Trust Co., Former President and CEO of First National Bank of Rochester, and Former Commissioner, Deputy Mayor, and Acting Mayor of the City of Rochester

  • Robert “Bob” Johnson (posthumous award) – Founder of Bob Johnson Chevrolet, with John Love and Greg Stahl, Owners of Bob Johnson Auto Group

  • David J. Riedman – President & CEO of Riedman

  • Marc C. Fiore – President of Mindex

Each of these leaders has made a significant impact on the Rochester community, shaping the local business landscape. The 2025 induction dinner will take place on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the Joseph A. Floreano Rochester Riverside Convention Center, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Marc Fiore: Leading Innovation and Growth in Rochester

Over the past 30 years, Marc has grown Mindex from a small team of software developers into a nearly 400-person organization recognized for its software development solutions in analytics, cloud services, K–12 software, and integrations. This distinction reflects not only Marc’s leadership but also the dedication and talent of the entire Mindex team and their commitment to the Rochester community.

Marc is deeply connected to Rochester and the local community. He has built strong partnerships with RIT, providing co-op opportunities and supporting technology-focused student programs. Each year, Mindex supports a local charity chosen by employees, reflecting Marc’s commitment to giving back and strengthening the region.

Marc’s leadership has earned him recognition, including the 2024  Herbert W. Vanden Brul Entrepreneurial Award from RIT. His 2025 induction into the Rochester Business Hall of Fame reflects his ability to guide a talented team, grow a successful company, and make a meaningful impact on the Rochester community.
