Mindex announces the hiring of Brian Baniewicz as Chief Technology Officer for the company’s newly launched cloud service offerings.

Brian joins from CaterTrax where he served as Chief Information Officer. He brings two decades of full software development lifecycle experience, leading technology, and software delivery teams, and delivering client-facing services. Under Mindex’s Professional Services division, Brian will lead all cloud offerings including cloud-native application development and cloud migration services.

“This is an exciting time to be joining Mindex and we are thrilled to welcome Brian”, states President Marc Fiore.

“He embodies our innovative values and brings a wealth of industry knowledge that will be crucial in 2021 as we expand our offerings.”

Brian is a Rochester native and graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) who has held roles at PAETEC Communications, Brand Networks, EagleDream Technologies, and CaterTrax.

“I am very excited to join an organization that is invested in the Rochester community and will continue to bring together strong technology contributors to build upon what is already an extremely strong team” says Baniewicz.

“With a thriving Professional Services division, an established software product in SchoolTool, and the continued transition of software and infrastructure to the public cloud, Mindex is poised for success in this cloud initiative.”

Mindex’s cloud initiative also includes advancing its select tier status in the Amazon Partner Network and expanding cloud certifications across the organization.
