Supporting Mental Health

Gratitude is a core value for us here at Mindex, and we're grateful for the opportunities we've had to give back. As part of our effort to engage employees to work together toward a common goal, Mindex asks employees to nominate a charity each year. This initiative has allowed us to support organizations our employees are passionate about, such as 13thirty Cancer Connect, Ewing Sarcoma Cancer Research, Sustain Inspire Survive (SIS), Parkinson's Foundation, and the Testicular Cancer Society.

Mindex employees selected the Mental Health Association of Rochester (MHA) as their charity of choice this year. Since 1932, MHA has promoted mental wellness throughout Monroe, Livingston, and Ontario counties. The MHA offers an array of educational programming, service referrals, and individual assistance in our local community to assist those who are seeking to find—and maintain—wellness.

Mindex Mental Health Initiatives

Mindex supports mental health and the MHA through several initiatives and events. This past May, during Mental Health Awareness, we joined 70 other landmark buildings across the country by lighting our office exterior green.

In September, Mindex employees, friends, and community members joined together for an evening full of laughter at the Comedy at the Carlson in support of the Mental Health Association

Together, we are proud to support MHA's initiative to remove the stigma around mental health and provide access to services to the community.

We've also provided a variety of internal initiatives this year, including hosting a webinar on our Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that provides confidential mental health counseling at no cost to our employees. In addition, we launched an online resource webpage for our employees with a Mental Health Awareness Toolkit that includes interactive quizzes and information on mental health awareness, the connection between mind and body, and on-demand training to promote work-life balance.

In the coming year, we will continue to build on our programs and remain committed to being proactive when it comes to mental health and caring for our employees and our community.
